So Art Night tonight we played a game of Masterpiece (that old art auction board game, with the cards with the classing paintings) only instead of playing with the paintings provided, we played with "paintings" we made at art night last time, and if you successfully manage to sell your art to the bank, or if you make it to the end of the game with the art, you get to keep the art permanently, take it home with you. I scored five or six awesome little arts from my fellow talented artist friends. It's great. And playing that way too, you want to sell the art to the bank, so you can keep it for yourself, so it adds this extra level of investment. Poor Lauren got stuck at the end with one of her own pieces, so she just put it in the pool to play with next time. It's the cutest tiger you've seen in your life, and it is so mine. (I already managed to collect one piece from her tonight, so good.)
So I completed the vlog of the month; it's almost 20 minutes long. It's my longest vlog so far, by 4:58. It could have been a lot shorter; it could have been a lot longer. Finding the sweet spot to edit it at is what took me so long, though conceivably it could have been done on the 7th or 8th.
Philip José Farmer's 100th birthday was on Friday, and I totally missed it. Oh well.
