Gravity Wells

There's a scene in Ad Astra where Brad Pitt's character is crying in zero-G, and it rolls down his cheek somehow, and I genuinely thought it was symbolic somehow (you can get away with loads of arthouse stuff in an astronaut movie and still be able to market it to mainstream audiences, and boy howdy does Ad Astra exploit that fact.) 

 But no it just turns out that they did realize the mistake but Brad Pitt's acting was so powerful in that scene they decided to use that take. Favoring emotion over continuity is just good editing.
