Connections and Coalescence

Genius and creativity lie in connections, connecting the unconnected. When you combine the arts or sciences or mathematics, it's called genius, and rightfully so. Connecting the previously unconnected. But when you combine popular culture, it's called a meme. That's kind of hurtful, really. Popular culture should be able to be combined and tweaked and remixed just as much as anything else. Though memes generally show that on the surface. A trope, then. Can't argue against that.

Is creativity when stuff coalesces? Otherwise it could just be random connecting of unrelated things. That is true creativity: proof of geniuine inspiration. But it could also be little more than luck, making it up as you go and happening to have it connect wonderfully. It could be seeing how some things would fit together nicely later on.

So you plan things to be brought up later on, setting things up even if you're not sure what that will be.
