The Ghost Sequence

This is a series of posts I wrote around November 2012, and they went up from January 18th-January 30th 2014 (written beforehand, they were scheduled to go up during my mission, when I knew I'd be cut off from blogging for two years.) The sequence is about a whole bunch of stuff, really, but it's all tied together by the thread of my diagnosis with Asperger's syndrome and how my life is or isn't affected by that-- there's a lot of stuff in here too about IQ testing, as well. In other words, a whole lot of struggling to sound humble about things that you can't control but which people find ways to brag about anyway...

Looking at these now, they're not all that well-written or anything-- but they have always seemed pretty popular, so I've got them in a collection here for you. Whether or not this is easier than navigating using the "newer post/older post" feature down at the bottom, ey, it's easiest to link to this page when referring to this sequence of posts as a whole, so I'd call that worth it.

Most of it is pretty personal and specific to my own case, so anyone looking for general resources on autism is liable to be pretty disappointed-- but that's precisely the thing, each case of autism is entirely unique, so prepare to be disappointed anyway. Hey there.
