Gearing up for Super Bowl, and for adwatchers such as yours truly, that means, um, ads.
For the past two years, the hands down Super Bowl "winner" was Chrysler. While certainly not the funniest (which seems to be another competition in itself, one which Chrysler does not play, FTW (which stands for FOR THE WIN!),) they have shown themselves to have the deepest, boldest advertisements of the bunch. From the same guys who brought you the Old Spice Guy, so you know that's legit. They let their ads go on for minutes at a time (in the not-boring way,) in a world where every second costs a hundred thousand dollars. Easily making them the longest-running advertisements of the games (discounting that interactive Coca-Cola polar bear thing; wasn't that awesome?)
How stupid will the "funny" commercials get this year? How awesome will the Chrysler ad be? Will there be any stupid "funny" parodies of Chrysler ads? I only care about the answer to one of those.
