Napping...

Jonathan's skyping with his mom on how to work a crockpot- he hadn't known to leave the crockpot cooking over church. I nap on the couch, waking up in time to hear him make the call, but falling back asleep as he cuts up vegetables in order to fry them before putting them into the crockpot, to speed the process up now that it hasn't been cooking the whole time. My dream lasts as long as it takes to tell it: it is of Kong scientists, like scientists who are actually King Kongs, studying the children of the native villagers, administering the IQ tests they've invented to them but puzzled that the children who have what we would classify as autism seem to be underperforming on the tests, and trying to calibrate them to correct for this failure.
