So part of my dream there was this game, like a cross between Hearthstone and chess, only the chessboard is also a maze come to think of it so you can't move certain ways and whatnot, and there's one of those newspaper or magazine puzzles that presents a setup to you and asks what to do next. This particular setup gives you a hopelessly outmatched position, pooched from here to Thursday, and yet tells you you can win this one in one move.
The solution is somewhat of a lateral one. Precisely once every game you can use a turn to swap out your champion, and different champions give you different abilities. Your move this round is to do that, as you haven't yet done it this match, and change it to a certain champion who does direct damage to the opponent's face when he's summoned under certain circumstances. You swap your hero to him, which deals enough damage to KO the opponent, and you win.
Easy peasy.
